Systems a hospital depends on
A hospital network carries the hospital information system, lab and imaging results, CCTV, IP phones and Wi-Fi for staff devices, often all at once and around the clock. When it slows down, care slows down.
We design these systems so each one has its own network, the important ones have a backup path, and every cable and port can be traced in minutes when something goes wrong.
- Structured cabling and fibre for wards, OPD, labs and imaging
- Separate networks for clinical systems, CCTV, phones and guest Wi-Fi
- Wi-Fi for nurses’ devices and patient areas
- CCTV for entrances, pharmacy, car parks and corridors
- Access control for pharmacy, ICU, records and server rooms
- IP phones and paging for departments and wards
- Firewalls and Microsoft 365 for secure email
- Servers and virtualisation for hospital software

How we work in live hospitals
Most healthcare work happens in buildings that never close. We plan each area with your facility and IT teams, work in phases, and schedule noisy or dusty work for times that suit the ward.
We cover open ceilings, clean up at the end of each shift, and check with biomedical engineering before we work near medical equipment.
Changes to live networks happen in agreed windows, with a way back if something does not go to plan.
Questions we often get
Can you work without shutting down a ward?
Yes. We work in phases, agree times with each department, and keep live systems running while we install. Network changes happen in short, planned windows.
Do you work with our hospital software vendor?
Yes. We set up the network, servers and access your software vendor needs, and agree cut-over times with them.
Where should cameras go in a hospital?
Entrances, corridors, pharmacy, cash counters and car parks. We keep cameras out of care areas where privacy comes first, and set strict rules on who can view footage.
